It is the first Wednesday of the month, and time for the Insecure Writers' Support Group post. This month is special, because it marks 15 years of the IWSG. I haven't been here the whole 15 years--only about 11 of them. (See my first IWSG post in November 2015 if you are wondering). Photo Friday: BC Kayak Adventure, Part 3

I'm back! I finished my CA adventures (about 1400 new photos to sort and edit) and have finished editing the August kayak photos. My previous reports on our trip with Kingfisher Expeditions are here and here . I take up the story with Day 4, after our night at Cedar Camp. We left off at bedtime with this view.   In the morning, the view had changed a little. Morning mists and low tide. Dead calm mornings made for good reflections. We paddled through the middle of the day, about 7 1/2 miles. At first it was misty. When crossing the larger passages, we tried to bunch up, side by side by side to be visible to any power boats going through. Most were courteous. Eventually the mists cleared, as we neared the Fox islet group, where we'd camp for our final 2 nights. Look closely for the bald eagle. Great hilarity ensued when our guide told us to head for "the bird-covered rock," and most of us heard, "the fir-covered rock." Since every bit of land we could see was...

  It's the first Wednesday of the month again already, and time for my IWSG post! I got home last Friday from a 3-week road trip and backpacking adventure, so I've not done a whole lot since last month :)   Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance.
